Hi! I'm Heather Violet. Ive been tattooing since 2008 and have expertise in several styles of tattoo, my personal favorites being illustrative, neo-traditional, watercolor and blackwork ornamental. My favorite subjects are floral, dark surrealism and anything super ridiculous and lighthearted. 

My apprenticeship was under Jacci Grisham at her historical tattoo shop in New Orleans, more recently studying under Stacie-Rae Weir, and completing courses to specialize in scars and post-masectomy areola tattooing. I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to work with some of the most influential women in the history of tattooing! I do stay up to date with Blood Borne pathogens, communicable disease, and CPR certifications. 

Outside of tattooing my art is always in motion and experimental, but lately my mood has been with intuitive abstracts in mixed media. 

I'm a 7th line lineage Reiki Master Teacher and trauma informed healer as well as a trance channeler, teaching esoteric studies and mentoring. My other interests include herbalism, wildcrafting, exploring, and punk rock shows.
